# AlgoMaker

> Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for quantitative trading. An AI agent can mine,
> validate, portfolio-test and paper-trade algorithmic trading strategies. The engine runs
> on the user's own machine; orders with real money and broker keys stay on the owner's
> screen, never in the agent's hands.

## What the engine does

- Data: download and inspect instruments and candles from the venue you choose.
- Mining: generate candidate strategies with out-of-sample gates, walk-forward and
  Monte Carlo, at the cost model of the venue that will actually execute.
- Portfolio: correlation, sizing and structure across strategies.
- Paper: run a strategy against live prices without money.
- Live: armed only by the owner, on the owner's screen. The agent never arms it.
